TAG Online adds wireless connectivity - June 1, 2001

TAG Online is pleased to announce that a new wireless data circuit has been established between its Upper Montclair, New Jersey colocation/hosting facility, and a major Internet backbone. This new connection ensures that Internet connectivity will survive the unlikely event of a concurrent failure in the two fiber circuit providers to the TAG Online network.

This connection is TAG Online's third to different Internet backbones. This multihomed connectivity not only isolates the hosting and colocation facility from problems with or between backbone providers, but also improves performance by shortening the path between the TAG Online network and the average web user.
